Welcome to Terabyte Labs. My name is Alex and I live in London. I studied computer science at Cardiff University and I am currently working as a software developer in the financial industry. I’m about 22 and interested in films, music, books and the outdoors.
The name of this site was inspired by the fictional organisation of the same name that has been used in several books by the great science fiction author Arthur C. Clarke. In the book The Trigger it is the name of an organisation that develops an experimental device that is able to disable firearms and other weapons. As this site is more a place of experimentation than anything I thought it would be a suitable name.
The purpose of this site is to act as a place to share my activities and thoughts. I don’t use my blog to record each of my daily activities and moods as the internet is clogged full of those kinds of blogs already. I try to write more about the kinds of things that I think other people might find useful or interesting to read. I might not post often but hopefully the posts are more interesting as a result.
I also keep a record of some projects that I’ve worked on in the past on the right or you can see a summary of each one on the home page.
I’ve uploaded many of the photos from my various travels around the world to my gallery. Let me know if you would like permission to view them.
